Dr Igor Georgijev
Dr. Igor Georgijev, born in Belgrade on August 22, 1972. Specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery, he is the third generation of plastic surgeons in his family, continuing the tradition started by his grandfather, Prof. Dr. Vinko Arneri, founder of the Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the VMA in Belgrade.

Dr Igor Georgijev graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade. During his studies, he spent six months in a student exchange program at Osvaldo Cruz Hospital in Recife, Brazil.
After graduating, he began working at the Zemun Health Center, where he was fully engaged in primary healthcare. In 1997, he worked at the Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery of the Clinical Center in Belgrade. During 1998–1999, he held various positions in the medical service.
From 1999 to 2004, Dr Georgijev completed his specialization in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Military Medical Academy. After completing his specialization, in 2004 he founded the private hospital for plastic and reconstructive surgery “KOMNENUS”, which successfully operated until 2012.
During 2010–2011, he received advanced training at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea, in the field of facial reconstructive surgery, where he worked with Prof. Dr. Jang Dak. In 2011, he further trained in Japan at the invitation of the largest private hospital in Japan, TOKOSHUKAI.
From 2012 to 2016, he was the founder and director of the private General Hospital Alfa MEDIC. In 2013, he performed a series of plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures in the People’s Republic of China, where he trained Chinese surgeons.
From 2016 to 2022, he was the founder and director of the private General Hospital Atlas, where he worked as a surgeon in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. During 2018–2022, he worked part-time in Kuwait as a licensed plastic surgeon.
Since 2021, Dr Georgijev has been the founder and director of the Center for Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery “Georgijev”. Since 2020, he has also been the founder and director of the Cardiology Center “Puls”.
