Everything you need to know about threads
What are threads and what effects do they have?
Threads are nonsurgical techniques of tightening and re-shaping the face. Ideal candidates for this procedure are people from the ages 35 to 55. The main advantage of this technique is that its final result is the immediately visible natural look of the face with refreshed volume and preserved mimic expressions. It is thought to be the most natural way of making new collagen. The effect can last up to 2 years depending on the skin type.
What are meso-threads and how do they work?
Meso-threads are thin, biodegradable, flexible threads that go through all skin layers and subcutaneous tissue in various directions. A topical anesthetic in the form of a cream is applied to the places where the threads are inserted, but local anesthesia (Lidocaine) is also injected. Mezonites degrade in 4-8 months depending on the skin type, leaving behind a supportive net made of newly formed collagen, which gives a lifting effect. Mezonites affect the formation of new elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin. Their presence contributes to better microcirculation, so all treated areas have a better supply of oxygen and blood. The result is tight and lifted skin that looks, fresh, healthy and at least 2-3 years younger.
