PRP tretment

Revitalize Your Skin Naturally

What is PRP and how does it work?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment, also known as the “vampire treatment,” uses platelet-rich plasma from your blood to stimulate skin regeneration and improve its appearance. It stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin, making the skin firmer, fresher, and younger-looking. This treatment can be applied to various parts of the body to achieve diverse aesthetic goals. Here is where PRP can be applied: face, neck, décolletage, hair, scars, and stretch marks.

Effects of PRP treatment:

  • Significant reduction of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Restoration of skin firmness and elasticity
  • Visible improvement in skin hydration and texture
  • Reduction in the appearance of scars and dark circles

Preparation for PRP application:

  • Blood Sample Collection: The treatment begins with taking a sample of your blood, usually from a vein in your arm, similar to a standard blood test.
  • Centrifugation: The blood sample is then placed in a centrifuge, where rapid spinning separates the platelet-rich plasma from the other blood components.
  • Preparation of PRP for Injection: The separated plasma is prepared for injection, removing everything except the concentrated plasma rich in growth factors.
  • PRP Application: The prepared PRP is injected into targeted skin regions, which can include the face, neck, décolletage, or even the scalp, depending on your goals.
  • Duration: The entire process takes about 60 to 90 minutes, including preparation and the injection itself.

After PRP treatment:

Immediately after the treatment, you may experience mild swelling, redness, or sensitivity at the injection sites. This is normal and typically resolves within a few days.

  • Skin Care: Your doctor will provide specific instructions for skin care after the treatment, which may include avoiding direct sun exposure and using certain moisturizing creams.
  • Visible Results: While some patients may feel refreshed immediately after treatment, the full effects of PRP treatment usually become noticeable after several weeks as the skin begins to regenerate.
  • Follow-up Treatments: For optimal results, multiple PRP treatments may be recommended at intervals of several months.

Is PRP treatment painful?

No, thanks to local anesthesia, the process is virtually painless.

The initial results are visible after 3 months, with the full effect achieved after a series of treatments.

The effects can last from 1 to 2 years, with recommended follow-up treatments to maintain results.
